Only Vash and Knives are able to activate the Angel Arm.ĭuring his 17 years inside the SEED ship, Knives salvaged the needed parts and Plant material to fashion this set. Activation causes the gun to fuse with the user's arm, transforming both gun and arm into a high-yield energy weapon capable of mass destruction. Each gun is designed with a miniature Plant contained in a break-away housing along the top of the barrel. First, as an ordinary revolver, and second, in a configuration known as The Angel Arm. The two depicted in the series are unique in design, both built by Knives, and can be used in two modes. Probable examples include a break action frame reminiscent of an MP412 REX, and a barrel with a low bore axis, firing from the bottom of the cylinder, similar to some Mateba revolvers. These guns are not based on normal revolvers, but are a mash-up of features from various real-world revolvers.
