Even if you restart Synapse and plug/unplug the mouse while the PC is on. A good example of it not working would be mapping the scroll wheel click to a keybinding, if you put your pc to sleep or turn it off and back on without unplugging the mouse and replugging it back in, the keybinding WILL NOT pick up and bind to the mouse. I constantly have to unplug my mouse and reconnect or turn my pc on then off for Synapse to properly sync with my mouse. It is actually easy to distinguish between which buttons you are pressing out of the 1-12. Very short accusation but still requires the perfect amount of pressure so you don't have to worry about smashing the buttons with your thumb.
